Delivery for Website Orders

UK Mainland
Delivery for website orders throughout the United Kingdom, for standard products is usually within five working days* . If all the items on your order are in stock, we will aim to dispatch your order the next working day. *The first working day is the day after your order has been placed. This excludes weekends and bank holidays.

​We will only dispatch orders when all items are in stock as a complete consignment. We will not split an order and send separately unless you agree to pay the additional carriage incurred by sending multiple deliveries. This does not include products that are despatched direct from one of our distributors.

We would always advise to ensure that you have the paint or wallpaper delivered before you arrange for decorators to commence work on your project. To check availability of stock and likely delivery timescales please call 01206 216000 during the hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Please also note that Farrow & Ball wallpaper is hand made to order and can take between 7-10 working days from production to final delivery. Some wallpapers available to purchase on our website are part of an archive collection and will have a longer lead time for production. Estimated times are noted on each individual wallpaper product page.

Delivery will normally be by post or courier and will occur between 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

All Products must be paid for prior to delivery. Risk shall pass on delivery. If there is any short delivery or damage to goods in transit, this should be notified to the Company by you with full particulars within three working days of delivery. We cannot be financially liable for delay in delivering the Products, however arising.

We have a set delivery charge of £4.95* + VAT however on certain product lines we offer FREE UK Mainland Delivery for online orders over £45. Simply add the items you would like to purchase to the basket and select your delivery destination to confirm the actual delivery price you will be charged.

For Remote Destinations additional charges will apply and you will be advised after you have placed your order and asked to pay the additional charge before we despatch your order if your delivery address is deemed to be a Remote Destination by our Courier Service. Sample Pots are Free Delivery and are sent via Royal Mail throughout the UK. Multiple sample pot orders are Free Delivery also, but may be sent via courier.​


​Changes to Sanderson Paint Manufacturing

Sanderson are changing the way their paint is manufactured, distributed and sold. Whilst these changes are being implemented our delivery timescales on Sanderson products will unfortunately be temporarily increased. Please allow up to 10 working days to receive delivery.

Once Sanderson have successfully implemented their changes our normal delivery timescales will apply. We will provide further updates accordingly.

 

Delivery to Europe

We deliver to the following European countries

Euro Zone 1 (We aim to despatch orders the next working day but depending on stock availability please allow up to 7 working days for delivery) - Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg & Netherlands - From £15.00 + VAT up to £60.00 + VAT (Max price depending on location and weight)

Euro Zone 2 (We aim to despatch orders the next working day but depending on stock availability please allow up to 10 working days for delivery) - Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain & Switzerland - From £23.00 + VAT up to £90.00 + VAT (Max price depending on location and weight)

Euro Zone 3 (We aim to despatch orders the next working day but depending on stock availability please allow up to 14 working days for delivery) - Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Italy, Norway, Romania, Slovakia & Sweden - From £28.00 + VAT up to £90.00 + VAT (Max price depending on location and weight)

We advise not to book decorators until you have received your products. Our delivery timescales are to give an indication only and Kent Blaxill cannot be held responsible for any costs that you may incur if the products have not arrived before your decorator is due to start work.


For Remote Destinations additional charges will apply and you will be advised after you have placed your order and asked to pay the additional charge before we despatch your order if your delivery address is deemed to be a Remote Destination by our Courier Service. If you are placing an order from outside the EU, please remember that your purchase will be subject to local taxes and duties in your home country. These will only be advised to you when your parcel arrives at your local customs and your products will not be released to you until these have been paid. If you would like advice on what these taxes and duties are likely to be, please contact your local customs office.​

Zero Rating VAT

VAT is calculated at 20% in the UK. We can zero rate the VAT if we are supplying the goods to another EC Member State providing:


  • you enter a valid (not GB) EC VAT registration number, including the 2-letter country prefix code into the correct field in the shopping basket, and
  • the goods are sent or transported out of the UK to a destination in another EC Member State, and
  • we can obtain proof (usually signed courier delivery note) that gives evidence that the goods have been removed from the UK.

You can check the validity of your VAT number at the following website http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vatRequest.html - Please ensure the VAT number you are providing is accurate and valid and is not a UK registered VAT number as we will not be able to despatch your order until we are satisfied that you are eligiable for the VAT to be removed.

We will not be able to zero-rate a sale, even if the goods are subsequently removed to another Member State, if:

  • the supply of goods is to a UK VAT registered customer (unless that customer is also registered for VAT in another Member State. In such cases the must provide their EC VAT registration number into the relevant field on our shopping basket check out page and the goods must be removed to another EC Member State)
  • the delivery is to, or the goods are to be collected by, a UK customer at a UK address, or
  • the goods are to be used in the UK in the period between supply and removal.

Trade Account / Trade Cash Card Holder Only Deliveries

Deliveries will be made between 07.30 and 17.00 Monday to Friday. (Excluding Bank Holidays)

Items will be dispatched as soon as we receive notification that payment has been received and cleared by our credit/debit card payment service provider or that your Kent Blaxill Trade Account is within its credit limit.

We will endeavour to deliver items on a next day basis subject to stock availability, however please allow up to 28 days for receipt of your goods. To qualify for a next day delivery service of stocked items, orders need to be cleared by 12.00pm.


Dec Express (Trade Account / Trade Cash Card Holders Only)

We do offer an Express Delivery Service for the Professional Decorator. If we receive your order before 9.00am we can offer same day delivery for customers within our East Anglian branch network. Subject to stock availability and minimum order of 10 litres.

Delivery Information (02)

If delivery of the product is made to a building or construction site we will only be obliged to deliver to the nearest safe location to the site.

Once we have delivered the products then you are responsible for their insurance and security.
