Patent Glazing Roofing System
The patent glazing systems allows light and ventilation into areas of a building that previously might have been covered over. There are different types of rooflights (and lanternlights) which can be used to provide a solution.

_ Lonsdale Glazing Bars - Single or double glazed, they provide a glazing system for use on top of rafters or can be self supporting between wallplate and ring beam.
_ Lonsdale Spangard - A self supporting roof/lantern light which can be manufactured in a variety of shapes and finishes. Installed onto a timber or metal kerb.
_ Exitex Glazing Bars - A patent glazing system for use on rafters only, single or double glazed. Suits a different variety of conservatories i.e. Victorian or gable ended.
_ There is a choice of colours to support compliance with planning regulations
_ Full installation service - including measuring and templating
_ Installed with double glazing will comply with the
current building regulations including Doc L.
A)
Lonsdale ALM100/WF single glazed, 6mm toughened external
canopy.
B) Lonsdale Spangard, double glazed with four opening rooflights for ventilation.
C) Exitex glazing Capex 40 bars affixed to customer's own timber rafters with ridge detail.
D) Exitex glazing Capex 60 bars fixed to customer's own rafters with ridge and hip detail. Opening rooflights can be incorporated into the design.
