Is Cuprinol Garden Shades suitable for decking?

Cuprinol Garden Shades is not suitable to paint decking. This range of paints is designed for woodwork and can also be used on terracotta, brick and stone. Refresh your decking with Osmo Decking Oil which is available in various shades, including Osmo Clear Teak Decking Oil and Osmo Black Decking Oil. Liberon Decking Clear Oil can also be used to uplift, protect and revive timber decking as well as fences and garden sheds. 

Is Cuprinol Garden Shades waterproof?

This water-based paint is water-resistant and will repel water.

Can Cuprinol Garden Shades be sprayed?

Yes, Cuprinol Garden Shades has been formulated to be able to be applied with a brush or sprayer. This paint features a thin and free-flowing formula that has low viscosity and will be runnier than traditional paints. This allows for the paint to be easily sprayed.

Does Cuprinol Garden Shades need primer?

This product does not require a primer. However, surface preparation is required before painting. Please ensure all surfaces are clean and dry before painting.

Can Cuprinol Garden Shades be used indoors?

Cuprinol Garden Shades is designed for exterior use only. Use interior wood paint for indoor woodwork, such as Osmo Polyx Oil Tints. These are available in various colours, including Osmo Polyx Oil Tint Black and Osmo Polyx Oil Tint Graphite.  Water-based gloss/eggshell is available in a wide range of colours for internal projects.
