Our Colchester head office has a number of internal departments as well as a highly successful branch.

And the role…

You will be responsible for managing the HR department including developing, implementing, and overseeing processes and policies to ensure they are fair to all employees. Dealing with staff welfare through promotion of wellbeing initiatives. Promoting a culture of learning and development through the management and planning of continued professional development. Overseeing all recruitment and selection activities and manage the employee lifecycle.

What we’re looking for…

  • Multi-site experience, ideally from within merchant, retail, industry, service industry or distribution.
  • Ability to understand key HR metrics such as recruitment, engagement and retention, employee value and performance
  • Experience in Employment Law
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise
