Purchase of Products

All goods offered.
You must be 18 years of age to purchase Products from Kent Blaxill and Co Ltd. Please read these Terms carefully prior to indicating your acceptance.

Sale of Goods

All Products are believed by Kent Blaxill and Co Ltd (the ‘Company’) to be of a quality suitable for the purpose and specification for which they are intended. Any defect should be reported to the Company immediately it is discovered. All technical information in response to an enquiry is given by the Company in good faith. It will ultimately be for you to satisfy yourself as to the suitability of the product having regard to your own particular situation and site conditions. The liability of the Company will not exceed the value of the Products supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequential, financial and other such losses are excluded.

Any information, whether verbal or in writing of any kind (including on our website), is for guidance only and is given in good faith but without warranty, since skill of application and site conditions are beyond our control. In any event, we do not accept any liability whatsoever for the performance or non-performance of any goods beyond the value of those goods (for example, we shall not be liable in respect of wasted time or additional costs incurred by any person such as labour or scaffolding costs nor shall we be liable in respect of any alleged consequential losses of any person).

Whilst every effort is made to display as accurately as possible the colour of our goods, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the goods on delivery. If in doubt, you are advised to examine actual samples of the colour before placing your order.

Prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any order where there is a material error in the description of the goods or the advertised prices.

Health and Safety

The Company makes available in good faith information about its Products and with regard to the conditions necessary to ensure that Products supplied will be safe and without risk to health when used properly. Any information and advice given should not of itself be considered an adequate risk assessment as may be required under health and safety legislation. If you are not already in possession of information concerning the safe use of the Products or you become aware of any risk to health and safety, you should contact us.


Payment may be made by any of the means stated. Orders are accepted on the condition that Products will be supplied at the price ruling on despatch. The Company uses Secure Trading Ltd encryption technology to scramble sensitive data and provide maximum security over the internet.

Delivery for Website Orders

We advise not to book decorators until you have received your products. Our delivery timescales are to give an indication only and Kent Blaxill cannot be held responsible for any costs that you may incur if the products have not arrived before your decorator is due to start work.

UK Mainland

Delivery for website orders throughout the United Kingdom, for standard products is usually within five working days*. If all the items on your order are in stock, we will aim to dispatch your order the next working day. *The first working day is the day after your order has been placed. This excludes weekends and bank holidays.

​We will only dispatch orders when all items are in stock as a complete consignment. We will not split an order and send separately unless you agree to pay the additional carriage incurred by sending multiple deliveries. This does not include products that are despatched direct from one of our distributors.

We would always advise to ensure that you have the paint or wallpaper delivered before you arrange for decorators to commence work on your project. To check availability of stock and likely delivery timescales please call 01206 216000 during the hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Please also note that Farrow & Ball wallpaper is hand made to order and can take between 7-10 working days from production to final delivery. Some wallpapers available to purchase on our website are part of an archive collection and will have a longer lead time for production. Estimated times are noted on each individual wallpaper product page.

Delivery will normally be by post or courier and will occur between 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. If delivery of the product is made to a building or construction site we will only be obliged to deliver to the nearest safe location to the site. Once we have delivered the products then you are responsible for their insurance and security.

All Products must be paid for prior to delivery. Risk shall pass on delivery. If there is any short delivery or damage to goods in transit, this should be notified to the Company by you with full particulars within three working days of delivery. We cannot be financially liable for delay in delivering the products, however arising.

We have a set delivery charge of £4.95* + VAT however on certain product lines we offer FREE UK Mainland Delivery for online orders over £100. Simply add the items you would like to purchase to the basket and select your delivery destination to confirm the actual delivery price you will be charged.

Sample Pots are Free Delivery and are sent via Royal Mail throughout the UK. Multiple sample pot orders are Free Delivery also, but may be sent via courier.​

Delivery to Europe

Euro Zone 1 (We aim to despatch orders the next working day but depending on stock availability please allow up to 7 working days for delivery) - Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg & Netherlands - From £15.00 + VAT up to £60.00 + VAT (Max price depending on location and weight)

Euro Zone 2 (We aim to despatch orders the next working day but depending on stock availability please allow up to 10 working days for delivery) - Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain & Switzerland - From £23.00 + VAT up to £90.00 + VAT (Max price depending on location and weight)

Euro Zone 3 (We aim to despatch orders the next working day but depending on stock availability please allow up to 14 working days for delivery) - Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Italy, Norway, Romania, Slovakia & Sweden - From £28.00 + VAT up to £90.00 + VAT (Max price depending on location and weight)

For Remote Destinations additional charges will apply and you will be advised after you have placed your order and asked to pay the additional charge before we despatch your order if your delivery address is deemed to be a Remote Destination by our Courier Service. If you are placing an order from outside the EU, please remember that your purchase will be subject to local taxes and duties in your home country. These will only be advised to you when your parcel arrives at your local customs and your products will not be released to you until these have been paid. If you would like advice on what these taxes and duties are likely to be, please contact your local customs office.​


Private United Kingdom customers have certain cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (the Regulations). The Company offers the following returns policy.

Any customer wishing to exercise this right must notify the Company by telephone 01206 216000 or by email to As a further condition of the right to return, customers must also arrange (at their own expense) to return the goods in a saleable condition to the following address: Returns Service, Kent Blaxill and Co Ltd. 129-139 Layer Road, Colchester, CO2 9JY within 7 days of receiving delivery. Customers shall be entitled to a full refund.

Any goods made to customers’ specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from the right to cancel. Wallpaper and special colour matches are bespoke products, manufactured specifically to order, and therefore non-returnable.

Pending the return of the goods they must be kept in good condition

Returns of unopened resaleable items are accepted within 7 days from date of receipt with a valid proof of purchase

The goods will be deemed returned when actually received by the Company at the Company’s address in a resaleable condition.

Wallpaper - In the event of a fault, please send a sample of the product to us with the label – it should not be necessary to return all of the faulty product. Please do note that you should check all wallpaper products for faults before hanging. If the product is defective in any way or has a fault, replacement or refund will be made at no charge.

Damaged/Lost Goods – Where goods are delivered to or received by the customer damaged or there is a shortfall, the Company must be notified within three working days in order for replacement goods to be sent free of charge. No such claim will be accepted outside of this time limit. Any such replacement is subject to the provision by you of such proof of damage or shortfall as we may reasonably require.


These terms and conditions and any claims arising in relation to goods ordered or supplied shall in all respects be governed by English Law and any dispute arising under or in connection with the foregoing shall be for the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

The foregoing exclusions and limitations do not affect (and are subject to) those of your statutory rights as a consumer, which cannot be excluded by law. For example, liability for fraud or injury/damage caused by our negligence cannot be excluded
